What is the difference between folding cartons, mailer boxes and rigid boxes?
Folding cartons are made from lightweight paperboard and are well suited to retail products and higher-volume production. Custom mailer boxes use corrugated board and generally provide greater cushioning for e-commerce shipping.

Which materials are available for folding cartons?

Yes, folding cartons can be engineered for automatic forming, filling and closing equipment. Before structural development, provide the packaging machine model, carton orientation, loading direction, glue requirements, board specifications and production tolerances.
A pilot run using production-grade samples is recommended because small differences in crease depth, board stiffness, moisture and glue position can affect machine performance.
How do I determine the correct carton dimensions and dieline?
Measure the product at its maximum length, width and height, including caps, pumps, seals or other projecting parts. Space must also be allowed for inserts, liners and practical product loading.
Carton dimensions are generally based on the required internal size. After the structure is confirmed, our team can prepare a custom dieline showing cut lines, crease lines, glue areas, flaps and printable panels for artwork placement.
Can folding cartons include windows, inserts or dividers?
Yes. Folding cartons can incorporate die-cut windows, transparent window film, paperboard inserts, F-flute supports, dividers and other internal components.
