Are the holders compatible with RFID, NFC and magnetic-stripe cards?
Paper key card holders can generally be designed for RFID, NFC and magnetic-stripe cards. However, an ordinary paper holder does not automatically provide RFID blocking or electronic security.
Metallic foil, magnetic closures and certain specialty materials should be positioned carefully because they may affect card reading in some configurations. If guests need to tap the card without removing it, the complete holder and card should be tested with the actual lock or reader system before mass production.
For maximum reliability, hotels should supply a working card and confirm the reader model or intended access method during sampling.
How do you prevent the key card from falling out?
Card retention depends on the pocket depth, opening direction, internal dimensions, paper thickness and friction between the card and holder.
The pocket should hold the card securely without making it difficult to remove. Thumb notches, angled openings, locking tabs or additional folds can improve usability and retention. If the holder carries two cards, both the combined thickness and the movement of the cards must be considered.

Can you add a writable area to the holder?
